Referred to as the Statue of Belief or Vishwas Swaroopam, this colossal structure is a testament to faith and devotion. Situated approximately 45 kilometres from Udaipur, the statue is a prominent landmark that can be seen from a staggering 20 kilometres away, making it a captivating sight for locals and tourists alike.

 

Construction Details

The magnificent Shiva statue has been brought to life by the dedicated efforts of Tat Padam Sansthan. Rising to a towering height of 369 feet, the statue is an architectural marvel that showcases the ingenuity and craftsmanship of over 300 skilled artisans. Over the course of more than a decade, these artisans meticulously crafted the statue using a staggering 3,000 tonnes of steel and iron, along with 2.5 lakh cubic tonnes of concrete and sand. Perched atop a sprawling hill encompassing an area of 51 bighas, the statue stands as a symbol of divine serenity and tranquility.

To ensure a seamless experience for visitors, the Shiva statue is equipped with modern amenities such as lifts and stairs, allowing easy access to its towering height. The deity is depicted in a meditative posture, radiating an aura of peace and calm. What's more, the statue is engineered to withstand the test of time, with an expected lifespan of 250 years. Designed to endure extreme weather conditions, including winds of up to 250 kilometres per hour, this monumental structure is a testament to human resilience and devotion.
