About the event

An Indian Contemporary Artist who explores the themes of self-expression, human relationships, and spirituality through her paintings, Krishna’s works are characterised by a semi-realistic style, a vibrant palette, with contrasts of light and dark. She draws inspiration from her personal life and the world around her, thus creating captivating compositions which reflect her emotions and experiences on the canvases.

Currently, she is heading the position of Assistant Professor, Department of Fine Arts at Rajasthan University.

Some of Krishna’s prominent series of artworks 🖼️ on-display in this upcoming exhibition:

• The Indigo People 👥

Referring to the direct and indirect connections we share due to the omnipresence of humans, in the this series, she celebrates the diversity and harmony of human relations using indigo in a combination of extreme light on extreme dark surfaces as a symbol of happiness, wisdom, intuition, and peace.

• Matsyagandha 🐠

In this series, she portrays the aspirations and achievements of women, using fish as the focal point symbolising ambition, determination, prosperity, and well-being.

Krishna’s paintings are a testament to her artistic vision and talent, as well as her personal journey and growth. She invites the viewers to immerse themselves in her world of colors, shapes, and stories, and to discover their own meanings and interpretations. Her paintings are a feast for the eyes and the soul, and a rare opportunity to witness the expression of an inner self.
